Larsa

Project at a glance

An easy app for pilots, better capacity management for airports.
With LARSA, General Aviation pilots avoid surprises and save time by planning their flight at Lelystad Airport in advance. When making a reservation, they immediately see the most suitable time for their flight, based on the estimated availability of the runway. This helps the airport with reducing peak loads and delays.

What is LARSA?
As a pilot you plan your General Aviation flight at Lelystad Airport in three simple steps. The Lelystad Airport Runway Scheduling App is an initiative of Lelystad Airport and developed by AirportCreators and GlobalOrange, in collaboration with Air Traffic Control the Netherlands (LVNL).

LARSA gives the option to schedule, change or cancel a flight up to an hour in advance and also keeps the pilot informed of the operational situation at the airport. If desired, they can plan their activity around the crowded hours.

How are pilots using LARSA
When planning a new flight, pilots choose the desired activity that they want to perform. This includes VFR / IFR arrival or departure. Then they select the desired date and time for your activity. The app automatically informs whether this is a suitable moment. After confirming this activity, all planned flights can be managed from the home screen.
