Lelystad Airport is currently the second largest airport and the largest general aviation airport in the Netherlands. The airport company is anticipating on handling large commercial aviation with its new runway, terminal and curb-side facilities. However, the new airfield infrastructure will also strengthen Lelystad Airport in the business aviation and MRO markets.
Lelystad Airport assigned AirportCreators for the masterplanning of the entire airport. The masterplan includes both the strategic and spatial long term planning.
